'A Summer in Putin's Hometown: He said/She Said, or Views of a Student and a Professor'

Saint Louis University student Eric Carter and SLU assistant professor of Russian Elizabeth Blake, Ph.D., will discuss their summer in St. Petersburg, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the Center for Global Citizenship, Room 124A.

Carter studied advanced Russian at the Bard-Smolny Institute and Blake received a Fulbright-Hays grant for Russian language teachers at the Herzen State Pedagogical Institute. 

They can offer valuable insights into Putin's Russia, which is at the forefront of world news today.
