Tuesday, 20 September, 2016

Saint Louis University student Eric Carter and SLU assistant professor of Russian Elizabeth Blake, Ph.D., will discuss their summer in St. Petersburg, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 20, in the Center for Global Citizenship, Room 124A.

Carter studied advanced Russian at the Bard-Smolny Institute and Blake received a Fulbright-Hays grant for Russian language teachers at the Herzen State Pedagogical Institute.

They can offer valuable insights into Putin's Russia, which is at the forefront of world news today.

Carter and Blake pose outside the Dostoevsky Museum in St. Petersburg, where they met by chance.
