The Center for Interprofessional Education and Research (CIER) will hold an annual open meeting and informational session about SLU’s Interprofessional Education program, IPE program updates and IPE research from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, in the Learning Resources Center Auditorium A.
Doisy College of Health Sciences and School of Nursing faculty and staff are highly encouraged to attend, but any interested faculty and staff are welcome, too.
IPE is an academic concentration integrated into nearly all SLU health sciences undergraduate majors, and the center offers post-baccalaureate courses, as well.
CIER faculty and staff will present:
• A discussion of the IPE program review
• IPE course revisions for the new academic year
• Course outcomes
• IPE research and scholarship
• Interprofessional practice community and clinical sites
• IPE collaboration with the Health Resource Center
To better understand the added value of interprofessional education in your health science program, meet the faculty who make it all happen, or have your questions answered, this is the meeting to attend.
Invite any interested colleagues, and RSVP here.
