Dr. Christopher H. Wellman, a Professor of Philosophy at Washington University in St. Louis, will be giving a talk on the Ethics of Immigration and the Refugee Crises. Dr. Wellman has specializes in political and legal philosophy and has published numerous books including "Liberal Rights and Responsibility" and "Rights Forfeiture and Punishment."
Dr. Wellman will be addressing the ethical implications of surrounding migration, and will also specifically touch on the refugee crisis. He will provide a legal and ethical perspective on immigration, while expanding on different perspectives of the legality of immigration.
The event will be in the Busch Student Center Room 251A.
