This event will offer attendees the opportunity to learn about the stories of people who are living in the streets and shelters of St. Louis, and the experiences of those who encounter them through Labre Ministry with the Homeless here at Saint Louis University. These stories will especially focus on living with the frustrating lack of dependable resources for housing, food, work, and other basic human rights and necessities available to people experiencing homelessness. It should be noted that this will not be a traditional panel discussion - this event will help immerse attendees into conversations about homelessness, poverty, and ways to combat these plights. Attendees should feel free to bring any questions or experiences to the table. Life in St. Louis is one of transition and uncertainty for people experiencing homelessness.
The event will be in the Busch Student Center Room 251B.
