The 1818 Community Engagement Grant Showcase will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, in the Center for Global Citizenship.
The 18 groups selected to receive the University’s inaugural 1818 Community Engagement Grants will be display posters about their projects and the impact they had on the community.
Projects include a robotics program in the Ville Neighborhood, the creation of trauma-informed play centers for youth in homeless shelters, various youth mentoring programs and more.
Food and drinks will be provided.
Created in celebration of SLU's bicentennial, the 1818 Community Engagement Program provides 18 groups of students, faculty and staff members with $1,800 each to partner with a non-profit organization to make a positive impact in the St. Louis area. Learn more here.
