The Saint Louis University Cancer Center and the Division of Gastroenterology are offering a free one-hour colorectal cancer “brown bag” lunch and learn presentation on Wednesday, June 26, from noon to 1 p.m. in Room 253 A and B, Busch Student Center.
Employees that attend the presentation will receive 50 Vitality points.
Kavya M. Reddy M.D., will be the speaker.
Colorectal cancer is the second leading cancer killer in the U.S. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends screening for men and women beginning at age 50, as a way to prevent and/or to detect cancers.
Employees ages 50 and older are encouraged to call their primary care physician (PCP) to obtain a referral for a colorectal screening test. Employees that receive a colorectal screening (colonoscopy) will receive 400 Vitality points.
