Stephania Bell, senior writer and analyst for ESPN, will give a lecture, “Entrepreneurship in Healthcare,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Room 1043, Allied Health Professions Building.
Bell will discuss her innovative path to success in physical therapy and her role at one of the world’s leading sports networks.
Bell is a licensed physical therapist, board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist and certified strength and conditioning specialist who joined the ESPN network as a senior writer and injury analyst in 2008. She has been elected to multiple positions in the Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (AAOMPT), has received numerous honors and awards and was named a Top 40 Influencer by UpDoc Media, a digital marketing company specializing in physical therapy and health care services.
Additionally, Bell was also the first woman to be elected to the Fantasy Sports Writers Association Hall of Fame for her many contributions to ESPN’s fantasy sports coverage.
