The Department of Public Safety, in collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) will host a drug take-back event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, in the lobby of Wool Center.
The event focuses on removing potentially dangerous controlled substances from the nation's medicine cabinets. This national take-back day will provide a unified opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted or unused pharmaceutical controlled substance and other medications to DPS officers.
A second take-back event will be held Monday, Oct. 28, from 8 to 10 a.m., in the first floor breakroom of DuBourg Hall, and on Hickory Street between the Hickory East and West garages.For questions or more information, contact Officer Sheila Hatcher at 314-977-3401.
