The Art History Program in the Fine and Performing Arts Department will host two lectures this week. On Monday, October 10, Professor Bradley Bailey will speak at the Arts and Eats ~ Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series about The Unknown Masterpiece: Marcel Duchamp’s Mysterious Fountain. The talk is from 12:30 - 1:30p in The Art History Suite, Rm 171 of Xavier Hall. Bring your lunch and enjoy the lecture…light desserts provided. And on Wednesday, October 12, Dr. Susan Waller will speak on The Problematic of the Pose in Nineteenth Century Paris. Dr. Waller is an Art History professor at the University of Missouri, St. Louis. Her lecture takes place in the Pere Marquette Gallery in DuBourg Hall at 4pm. Both lectures are free and open to the public. More information can be found here.
