The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience and Department of Neurology will present a Joint Grand Rounds from 8 to 9 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, in Lecture Hall 3, Schwitalla Hall.
George Grossberg, M.D., will present “Lifestyle Modification and Alzheimer’s Disease.”
Grossberg is the Samuel W. Fordyce Professor and director of geriatric psychiatry in the School of Medicine. Grossberg has edited or written 15 books and published more than 500 articles, chapters and abstracts in the peer-reviewed literature. He is a consultant in the development of protocols for central nervous system disorders in older patients, and is involved in a variety of basic as well as clinical research projects in the area of dementing disorders, with a focus on behavioral disturbances in Alzheimer’s Disease.
