The Department of Fine and Performing Arts, in collaboration with the Cabaret Project of St. Louis, will present Broadway and TV star Norm Lewis as he returns to Saint Louis University for a Master Class from 1 to 3 p.m .on Thursday, Jan. 30, in the Mark Wilson Studio Theatre, Xavier Hall.

Lewis was featured in the NBC television special, “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert!” in April of 2018, following his first Master Class at SLU.
Lewis’s other credits include the Broadway revival of Once on This Island and as Sweeney Todd in the off-Broadway production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street at the Barrow Street Theatre, (AUDELCO Award).
The actor made history in 2014 when he became the first African-American man to play the role of the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway.
