Service Opportunities:

- Farmers Market Volunteer: Assisst with coordinating the Saturday Farmers Market, working with vendors, sponsors, nonprofits and others to provide a great farmers market experience.

Remote/virtual opportunities include:

- Social Media & Marketing Intern: Assist with a range of marketing initiatives including tracking analytics for social media campaigns, creating social media posting schedules and writing captions for social media posts. Assist with copy writing develo p.m.ent, and social media coordination.

- Event Manager: Assist with devising and coordinating imaginative events, competitions and original multimedia events (both live audience and video).

- Volunteer Coordinator: Assist with the recruitment and management of volunteers and the arrangement of volunteer events and programs. Employment Connections works to assist individuals with limited opportunities to self-sufficiency through employment.

Service Opportunities:

- Accounting Assistant: Assist the accounting department with duties and responsibilities associated with finances and reporting. This opportunity is available during regular business hours.

- Computer Assistant: Assist clients with basic computer skills, online employment activities, resume, cover letter, and application completion. Possibly facilitate computer training sessions with clients. Assist staff with computer issues when needed. Resource room and computers are accessed by clients Mon-Fri 9:00 am to 3 p.m..

- Develo p.m.ent Assistant: Assist the Develo p.m.ent office with research for grants and program proposals, planning of agency events, and the production of marketing plans and materials. Develo p.m.ent Assistants can volunteer during regular business hours.

Missouri Jobs with Justice is a solidarity network of labor, community, faith, and students that work for worker's rights and economic justice.

Service Opportunities:

COVID-19 Opportunity: Engage in advocacy around MO Amendment 3 - call legislators, inform voters, and engage virtually with education and awareness raising.

- Canvasser: Jobs with Justice runs campaigns that focus on public policy that supports working families. Examples include increasing the minimum wage, protecting collective bargaining rights, and limiting the influence of money in politics. Volunteers would help talk to voters about how to support these issues.

- Mobilizer: Jobs with Justice often mobilizes volunteers for direct actions in support of workers seeking justice at the job. This includes mobilization for rallies, strikes or pickets. We often need volunteers to help call our supporters and turn them out in support of workers.

The Resale Shop is a charitable project of the National Council of Jewish Women St. Louis. We sell high-quality new and gently used clothing, jewelry, home goods, accessories, and more for the entire family. Donations from local businesses, NCJW members, and the general public support The Resale Shop. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a lay organization which leads women and men to join together spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are in need. Assistance is done through a parish conference to visit people in their homes to give assistance for utilities, rent, medicine, etc.
