Reminder: Optional Winter Break COVID-19 Testing

Dec. 14, 2020

Dear Saint Louis University students,

This email is a reminder that the University is offering optional, weekly COVID-19 testing to students who are living on-campus over winter break and who exhibit no symptoms of COVID-19

We continue to use a quick and easy saliva test to identify COVID-19 infection. Test results are available within 48-72 hours.

We are able to accommodate up to 50 students for testing each Tuesday, and there is no charge to participate.

Testing will take place on Dec. 15, Dec. 22, Jan. 5 and Jan. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lower level of Simon Recreation Center.

If you fill out the Google Form, you will not receive a confirmation email, but rest assured you are registered. If you have any questions or concerns, email pandemic@slu.edu

If you are staying on campus and develop symptoms or believe that you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, you must call Student Health right away at 314-977-2323. There is a nurse on call 24/7.

If you get tested off-site while at home over winter break, please contact the Student Health Center with your results, whether positive or negative.

One final reminder: We are planning to test all asymptomatic students who live on campus when they return to SLU for the spring semester. More details will be sent as our plans for the spring semester are finalized.

Stay safe and healthy.
