SLU Updates from Dr. Pestello

In a video message emailed to the SLU community on Nov. 18, University President Fred P. Pestello, Ph.D., gave brief updates about enrollment, the campus master plan, recent SLU distinctions and more.

Pestello's video message covers a number of topics, including:

• Student enrollment and retention, which have set new institutional records
• SLU’s new efforts to spur development in midtown St. Louis
• Recent honors for the University, including a top award for diversity
• The status of the Billiken mascot costume redesign

The video follows a Nov. 10 email message sent to students, faculty and staff in which Pestello called for members of SLU community to "work with each other to grow in unity, love, faith and hope."
