SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital Recognized by U.S. News & World Report

Six programs, led by SLUCare physicians, earned top 50 spots on the newly-released Best Children's Hospital Specialty rankings. 

U.S. News & World Report has named SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital among the nation’s best on its newly-released Best Children’s Hospital Specialty rankings list.

Six programs, including neonatal care, urology and cancer were among those recognized on the list.

Cardinal Glennon Rankings

• No. 28: Neonatal Care
• No. 38: Urology
• No. 40: Gastroenterology and GI Surgery
• No. 45: Cardiology and Heart Surgery
• No. 48: Cancer
• No. 48: Pulmonary

Pediatricians from Saint Louis University’s academic medical practice, SLUCare, staff the hospital and are at the forefront of caring for sick children and assisting their families.

About the U.S. News Best Children’s Hospital Rankings

The annual U.S. News Best Children’s Hospital rankings, now in their 14th year, offer guidance to parents seeking the best place for their very sick child. The top 50 medical centers are ranked in 10 specialties, including pediatric cancer, pediatric cardiology and heart surgery and neonatal care. In the 2020-21 rankings, 88 hospitals ranked among the top 50 in at least one pediatric medical specialty.
