Creative Excellence: SLU Staffers Win Design and Photography Accolades

Saint Louis University designers and photographers from Marketing and Communications and Enrollment Management earned several awards for their creative work in 2025.

“These awards reflect the strategic role design and photography play in advancing the University’s mission,” said Amy Bollinger, vice president of marketing and communications. “As visual communicators, our creative colleagues translate complex ideas into compelling visuals that are clear, accessible and engaging, helping prospective and current students understand not just what SLU offers, but who we are.”

University & College Designers Association Design Awards

Each year, the University & College Designers Association (UCDA) recognizes outstanding design and creative work. Entries are judged by a panel of designers, design educators, photographers and videographers with extensive experience working with educational institutions.

Saint Louis University earned four awards in this year’s competition:

University Photographers’ Association of America Annual Photo Competition

Conroy also earned national recognition in the University Photographers’ Association of America (UPAA) Annual Photo Competition. She received second-place honors in Online Photo Story and second place in News & College Life, recognizing her excellence in visual storytelling and photojournalism.
