Electrical Work to Impact School of Medicine Buildings

On Friday, Oct. 21, crews will begin working on a permanent fix for electrical issues affecting Schwitalla Hall and the Caroline Building. 

HVAC systems may be offline from 9 a.m. to 1 pm. today and through the weekend. There are planned weekend power outages for Schwitalla Hall and the Caroline Building, as well as the Learning Resources Center and Doisy Hall. Equipment currently on emergency power will remain on emergency power for the duration of the repairs, expected to be completed by Sunday night.

A work schedule is being sent to the School of Medicine community and can be obtained from facilities services or the dean’s office.
