American College of Physicians Honors SLUCare Internist
SLUCare internist Thomas Olsen, M.D., has been awarded Mastership in the American College of Physicians (ACP), the national organization of internists.

Olsen is a professor of internal medicine at Saint Louis University, where he has taught and practiced medicine since completing his residency in 1984. A highly respected clinician, Olsen is sought for his expertise across multiple fields of medicine.
Olsen teaches and lectures on a variety of topics in general internal medicine, medical education, and professionalism. He has received numerous teaching awards for teaching both students and residents and is annually recognized as a Best Doctor. He received the ACP Laureate Award for the Missouri Chapter in 2006.
Election to ACP Mastership recognizes outstanding and extraordinary career accomplishments. Masters must have made a notable contribution to medicine, such as teaching, outstanding work in clinical medicine (research or practice), contributions to preventive medicine, improvements in the delivery of health care, and/or contributions to the medical literature.
Olsen’s Mastership was recognized during the ACP’s annual scientific conference in March.
