SLU Community Can Submit Questions to Ask St. Louis Police Chief Candidates

12/08/2017

The City of St. Louis is hosting a moderated town hall with up to six certified finalists to give residents the chance to meet the next chief and pose questions about pressing issues in 21st-century policing.

The town hall will take place from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 14, in Room 1208, Scott Hall, 100 N. Tucker Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63101.

SLU students, faculty and staff as well as the general public are welcome to attend and may submit questions online in advance of the town hall. For those wishing to attend, please be aware that seating is limited and will be closed when the room reaches capacity.

The town hall moderator will ask the finalists about their philosophies on policing and their vision for St. Louis.

Submit questions here.

Questions will be selected from the pool of submitted questions, so those interested should submit online before noon on Thursday, Dec. 14. For those unable to submit electronically, the moderator will be taking limited questions in writing during the event.
