Cura Program Announces 2017 Mission Service Days Pilot Program

The Cura program aspires to support efforts to live the SLU mission and foster positive working relationships. Learning and Development in Human Resources and the Center for Service and Community Engagement have partnered together to offer a service-based, team-building experience called Mission Service Days.

The purpose of the program is to provide work groups, departments, and/or divisions the opportunity to engage in service in the surrounding community while forming relationships.

Groups will identify a site (help is available, if needed), organize their service experience with the site, utilize program resources to help facilitate a meaningful service and team experience, and report back on their experience through group testimonials and photos.

A pilot program will be offered over the 2017 spring break week with the hope of expanding the experience to groups throughout the year in the future.
