GSA Accepting Applications for Brennan Fellowship Awards, Student Recognition Awards

Students may apply for the fellowship awards for exam preparation or research. Faculty, staff and peers may nominate graduate students for recognition awards.

Brennan Summer Fellowship Award

Graduate students may now apply for a Brennan Summer Fellowship Award for exam preparation, thesis research or dissertation research. Applications instructions are available at the GSA website. Applications are due Wednesday, March 8, no later than 11:59 p.m.

Graduate Student Recognition Awards

GSA is accepting applications for the annual Graduate Student Recognition Awards, given to those who excel in teaching, service or mentoring.

Awards include the Service Award, intended for a graduate student who has demonstrated a high level of service to their department or the University community, as well as the Graduate Teaching Award, intended for a graduate student who has demonstrated excellence in teaching, either as a teaching assistant (TA) or as the primary instructor of a course.

Nominations are also accepted for the Mentorship Award, which is intended for a professor who has inspired students and enhanced students' graduate education.

Submitters will be asked to submit a recognition describing the nominee's commitment to the University. Nominations are due no later than March 8, at 11:59 p.m. More information can be found on the GSA website.
