March Security Patches Available

March's security patches for Microsoft Windows were sent to all PCs  Monday, March 20.

Customers who would like to install the updates for themselves can find step-by-step instructions on the ITS website. Updates must be applied before 4 a.m. Friday, March 24, otherwise, ITS will install them for everyone at that time.

Security and application updates help protect PCs from vulnerabilities and are an important way to guard against viruses. Updates do not apply until the computer is rebooted, so customers should restart their computer on Friday. In general, it is a good habit to restart computers a few times a week.
