Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society Seeks Participants for Induction Ceremony

The SLU Chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society requests assistance in administering its induction ceremony at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, in the Pere Marquette Gallery in DuBourg Hall. The event will last until about 8:30 p.m.

Founded in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest and considered to be the most prestigious honor society of the liberal arts and sciences. Saint Louis University is one of 283 colleges and universities who have been awarded a Phi Beta Kappa chapter.

SLU’s PBK community is made up of all faculty, staff and students who themselves have been inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

The chapter's work bestows an important recognition onto our students as they advance in their academic and professional careers. Participation in this committee counts as service to the College of Arts and Sciences.

Those interested in serving should contact Bruce O’Neill, Ph.D., at boneill1@slu.edu or Robert Pampel at pampelrj@slu.edu for further details.
