Volunteers Needed for Health Care Focus Group

Students with the College for Public Health and Social Justice want to hear from Saint Louis University employees about their experiences when looking for a primary care doctor.

The students want to hear from SLU employees who utilize SLUCare and the MYCare program, as well as employees who receive care from other locales.

The interview would not take more than half an hour. Ideas explored would include:

• What factors do you consider when choosing between providers for you and your family?
• What incentives are most influential when you choose to leave a pre-existing care relationship?
• How appealing is the idea of a team-based, patient-centered medical home model of care?
• Does your family utilize a common family practitioner for both adults and children?
