Applications Outage Planned for Oct. 6
A number of SLU applications will experience an outage during database upgrades from
5 p.m. through midnight on Friday, Oct. 6.
Oracle databases supporting the mySLU portal, Banner, ODS, and password.slu.edu will
receive a database upgrade.
During the upgrade, the following applications will be impacted and unavailable during
- Activity Insight
- Internet Native Banner
- Banner Self-Service
- Cliqbook & Concur Expense
- Cognos Reporting
- Payment Suite
- Qualtrics Survey Tool
- Service Desk Password Tool
- SLU 101 Registration
- SLU Appointments
- SLU Connection (Groups)
- Student Housing
- Automic Job scheduler (jobs on hold)
- WebFocus Dashboard and Report Delivery System
- Workflow processing
- Billiken Buy
A redirect will be in place for the mySLU portal and the following applications on
the Tools tab:
- Blackboard Learn
- Cards/Stationery Orders
- Facilities Service Request
- Google Apps
- IT Service Request
- SLU Card eAccounts
The reporting database will undergo an upgrade after the database upgrade and will
continue to be down until 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 7. This includes Cognos and WebFocus.
