ITS to Conduct Review of Banner System

During Fall, Information Technology Services will be working with a group of stakeholders from across the University to conduct a review of the Banner administrative and related systems. The team is seeking input from the University community regarding the current system and future requirements.

In order to meet the future goals of the University and to deliver the capabilities required to meet our objectives, the ITS organization in partnership with a third-party advisory firm will be conducting a review of the University’s core IT applications. The largest review involves an evaluation of the core administrative system, Ellucian Banner. Banner serves as the core system for many of the University’s most critical business processes including the student information system, financial system, human resources system, and development system.

The review will begin in mid-September and is expected to conclude with a recommendation by the end of the calendar year. The review team consists of broad representation from across numerous University units. Members of the review team area:

As the team begins their work, ITS is requesting that the University community complete a brief survey to provide feedback regarding the current administrative system, Banner and also provide future requirements. To provide feedback please follow the link: ERP Survey. The survey will close October 4, 2017.
