University Offers Opportunities for Dialogue About the Stockley Verdict

09/15/2017

The Center for Global Citizenship and the Office of Diversity and Community Engagement held open hours Friday for anyone who wanted to meet and discuss the Stockley case. There are more opportunities to meet for dialogue and reflection about the case and its outcome this week.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to join in Campus Dialogue groups on Tuesday, Sept. 19, Wednesday, Sept. 20, and on Thursday, Sept. 21. The groups will meet at 3 p.m. in the new Center for Service and Community Engagement offices located on the second floor of Wuller Hall, above the Campus Ministry offices.

Discussion, facilitated by SLU faculty, will focus on the impact of the recent Stockley case and verdict on the St. Louis community and the country's continued challenges in pursuit of racial justice.

These dialogue programs are supported by the Student Government Association, Student Development and Office of Diversity and Community Engagement.
