Billiken Bounty Launches for Fall Semester

In partnership with the Dean of Students Office, student leaders, in the name of "cura personalis," have sought to create a structure for a safe shopping experience where SLU students can choose from a variety of healthy foods to help empower all students to find food security.

Starting Monday, Sept.10, the student food pantry — Billiken Bounty — will act as a catalyst of positive change for SLU students by providing information and connection to other local and campus resources for personal and academic success.

The simple mission for the Billiken Bounty is to provide a sustainable on-campus resource to help alleviate food insecurity among SLU students, with the values of privacy, professionalism, respect and dignity.

Billiken Bounty is accepting food donations and personal toiletries in Dean of Students Office in room 356 at Busch Student Center.

If you have a student of concern or want more information about the Billiken Bounty or its support, please contact the Dean of Students Office at 314-977-9378 or deanofstudents@slu
