SLU Launches New Advising and Student Success Technology

This fall SLU will launch a new advising and student support software system. 

The EAB student success management system is one of the new software systems implemented at SLU to simplify and improve various processes for students, academic advisors, faculty, and academic leaders. 

The EAB Student Success software system has two platforms, EAB Campus and EAB Guide. Campus allows advisors and academic support staff to access key student data, target proactive interventions, and manage student appointments and interaction. Guide allows students to use their mobile device to make appointments, connect to resources, and manage tasks to stay on track to graduate.

The EAB student success management system facilitates the work and collaboration of academic advisors and student support services. EAB Campus provides enhanced capability, such as

The mobile application, EAB Guide, provides easy access to campus resources, schedules, and planning tools. The Guide app allows students to use self-service tools and notifications to complete tasks and monitor their progress. Beginning on Aug. 20 undergraduate students will be able to download the Billiken Guide app on their mobile device or access Billiken Guide on their computer.

Phase 1 of EAB implementation includes primary and secondary academic advisors.  Advising units are preparing to integrate the use of EAB Campus and Guide technology in their upcoming activities and interaction with undergraduate students. Future phases of implementation will make EAB Campus technology available to other advisors and support services, including INTO-SLU, Student Success Center, Career Services, and Financial Services.
