Breast Cancer Study Seeks Volunteers

A research study investigating mother-son communication and the breast cancer experience seeks participants.

The study is open to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer within the past five years who have at least one son with whom the participant has shared her breast cancer experience.

Participants sons must have been 18 years or older when informed about his/their mother’s breast cancer diagnosis.

The Institutional Review Board (IRB) protocol number for the study is #28997 and it was approved on Jan. 20, 2018. The study’s faculty mentor is Jennifer Ohs, Ph.D.
