Open Forums Set for School of Engineering Director Candidate

02/23/2018

As part of the ongoing academic reinvention initiatives that began last year, the four separate engineering departments in Parks College are being reorganized into a single school of engineering overseen by a school director beginning July 1, 2018.

The finalist for the position will take part in open forum events set for Friday, March 2.

Gary Bledsoe, Ph.D., professor of biomedical engineering, will participate in a forum on Friday, March 2, that is open to the SLU community. The forum will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. in Room 101, Litteken Hall. The session will include a presentation by Bledsoe and question/answer session.

There will also be an informal opportunity for students to meet with the candidate from 2 to 3 p.m. in Room 1016, McDonnell Douglas Hall, and an informal gathering for the SLU community at 5 p.m. at the Fieldhouse Pub and Grill, 510, N. Theresa Ave., St. Louis, MO.

A copy of Bledsoe’s curriculum vitae is available here.
