The Atlas Program, in collaboration with Political Round Table, is accepting nominations for the Sixth Annual Series of "Atlas Coffee and Conversation" events.

The “Coffee and Conversation” series offers the opportunity to sit down and discuss the global experiences of an individual who has exemplified SLU’s commitment to global citizenship. In the past, these nominees have included SLU faculty, staff and students chosen by the student body.

This year’s Atlas Program theme is "From Broken Walls, We Build Bridges: Out of Conflict Rise Communities.” The program encourages the nomination of individuals who have translated this theme into concrete action. Examples include a professor whose global research and/or service exemplifies this commitment; a community member who is working to alleviate global social injustices; or a fellow student who is working to make a difference in our global community?

“Coffee and Conversation” events provide these individuals with the opportunity to share their efforts and highlight the global obligations shared by SLU’s Jesuit-centered community.

All members of the SLU community are eligible to be nominated. Nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, Feb. 6. Selected nominees will be asked to speak during the Eighteenth Annual Atlas Program, which will be held from Saturday, April 7 to Saturday, April 14.
