'Divine Purpose' Retreat Set for March

01/19/2018

“A Divine Purpose: God’s Work and Ours” will be explored at the spring Faculty-Staff Retreat, set for Friday, March 10 and Saturday, March 11, at Mercy Center, 2039 N. Geyer Road. Those taking part in the retreat can earn 100 Vitality points.

Marian Love, a nationally known director and presenter in Ignatian spirituality, will be the retreat’s director. Love is former director of lay spiritual formation at Aquinas Institute of Theology.

The retreat will consider how God is at work in the world; laboring in even the most frivolous and hopeless of moments; and how we are invited to labor with God. The weekend will include input, reflection and time for personal and communal prayer. Staff and faculty are invited to take time during the season of Lent to renew their spirits and their life’s focus.

The cost is $50 and the reservation deadline is Friday, Feb. 16. Registration had been originally set as Friday, Feb. 23.
