ITS to Make Changes to SLU Network

Information Technology Services (ITS) will make changes to the University network on Thursday, Feb. 1. New internet protection devices will be installed to provide enhanced security for students, faculty and University systems.

ITS anticipates a 30-minute internet outage on the northern end of SLU’s campus during the work.  The change window will start at 11:59 p.m. and last until approximately 2 a.m.  The internet outage is projected to begin at 12:10 a.m. and should last until approximately 12:40 a.m. There is the possibility that the outage window may last longer and could continue through the maintenance window until 2 a.m.

The outage will not impact the School of Medicine or other southern parts of SLU’s campus.
