ITS Issues Security Awareness Training Reminder

SLU employees will find a new Security Awareness Training compliance requirement listed on the Home tab in MySLU on Thursday, Feb. 1 as Information Technology (IT) Security and Compliance continues the Information Security Awareness Training program.

The program’s objective is to reduce risk to the University by educating the community on how to protect the University's data, network and other information technology resources.

A link will direct users to a five-to-seven minute module in SkillSoft, “Mobile and Remote Computing Best Practices.” The module has a pre-test that allows users to test out of the training.  Users will need to complete the training by Monday, April 30.  After this date, users will be required to complete the training before proceeding in MySLU.
