SLUCare Marketing Caps Year with 13 National Awards

SLUCare Marketing has been honored with 13 national awards this year.

In May, the SLUCare marketing team was recognized by the 35th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards with seven awards. In June, the Hospital Marketing National recognized SLUCare Marketing with two awards, and its director, Sarah Gladson, was honored as a Top Marketer of the Year at the group’s conference in Atlanta. Recently, e-Healthcare, a prestigious industry group, awarded the team three laurels for digital campaigns and programs.

“It’s an honor to receive such high praise from national organizations alongside the industry’s best from all over the country,” Gladson, director of SLUCare Marketing, said. “These wins reflect our team’s passion and commitment to developing high quality products. We are fortunate to have a talented and creative team that works diligently to identify unique ways to overcome our marketing challenges and share amazing stories about our providers and patients."

This year, Healthcare Ad Awards received over 4,000 entries, making it the largest health care advertising awards competition in the field, and one of the ten largest competitions of all advertising awards. For each of the competition categories, a national panel of judges reviewed all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, design and overall impact. 

SLUCare Marketing took home:

In June, during their national conference in Atlanta, Georgia, the Hospital Marketing National bestowed two awards on SLUCare Marketing as well as naming Gladson as one of the Top Marketers of the Year.

“We had an amazing showing at the Healthcare Advertising Awards earlier this year, but we were truly honored to also be recognized at the Hospital Marketing National conference,” Gladson noted.

The June conference’s awards included:

At E-Healthcare’s 22nd Annual Awards Presentation in Scottsdale, Arizona, the team competed against entries from Penn Medicine, the Mayo Clinic, Baptist Health, the Cleveland Clinic, UCLA Health, and Duke Health, among other health care providers.

“For our team to walk away with a platinum [award] for our Find-a-Doctor program, a silver for rich media, and to be a finalist in their 'best of show' was overwhelming,” Gladson said.

The November awards included:

It’s a mental boost to be recognized among thousands of entries across the nation – especially when the majority of the work is done in-house.
