The Cannonball picnic follows the John O’Leary presentation from 9:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. in the Center for Global Citizenship.

To encourage a casual atmosphere at the event, staff are welcome to dress down that day if their work environment and schedule permits.

The picnic is held each year to recognize the contributions of SLU staff and gets its name from the battlefield injury suffered by St. Ignatius in 1521.

Along with lunch, attendees will have the opportunity to win prizes. In order to be eligible, attendees must RSVP online by noon Friday, Oct. 19. Human Resources encourages all attendees to RSVP in order to ensure an accurate food count.

Shuttle service will be provided between both ends of campus between and Scott Hall following the regular schedule of every 25 minutes. Reciprocal parking will be available in the Laclede or Compton for those who drive to the picnic.
