Interprofessional Education Center Course Holding Healthy Food Drive

The Interprofessional Education Community Practicum course is hosting a healthy non-perishable food drive for The Fit and Food Connection beginning Monday, Nov. 12, and seeks healthy, non-perishable food donations. The drive will run through Friday, Nov. 16.

Donation sites will be located on the northern and southern ends of campus.

The drive is seeking healthy sources of protein, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, soups and sauces. All foods will be donated to The Fit and Food Connection's Food Assistance Program which serves low-income families across the St. Louis metro region. The program provides healthy groceries for free to households that have limited access and financial resources to healthy food options.
