Mission Book Club Begins Sept. 19

Faculty and staff are invited to join the Office of Mission and Identity's fall book club.

The Office of Mission and Identity's fall 2018 Mission Book Club will feature On the Ignatian Way: A Pilgrimage in the Footsteps of Saint Ignatius Loyola by Jose Luis Iriberri, S.J., and Chris Lowney.

Book club members will take the walk of a pilgrim through the pages of this book. First, to study the history of the pilgrim, then followed by reading the experience of pilgrims as they traveled the footsteps of St. Ignatius through Spain on the Ignatian Way. And finally, readers will begin their own Ignatian pilgrimage through the Spiritual Exercises in 28 days.

If you have ever wanted to know more about Ignatian Spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises, please join fellow pilgrims to walk this journey together.

Faculty and staff are invited to join the opening luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19, in the ballroom of Saint Francis Xavier College Church. The book club will involve six meetings during the semester with a closing luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 18.
