New 'Billiken Bar' Opening

The former Billiken Grill will reopen as "The Billiken Bar" with a grand opening celebration on Thursday, April 4, at 11 a.m. The festivities will feature live entertainment, a ribbon cutting ceremony and an appearance by the Billiken.

The bar will feature beer and wine, as well as food specials as part of its opening day.

There will be a DJ from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. DineSLU will be on hand giving away fun swag.

Beginning on Friday, April 5, the bar's regular hours will be 5 to 10 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
