Information Security Awareness Training Deadline Reminder

On Monday, April 8, University employees found a new Security Awareness Training compliance requirement listed on the Home tab in MySLU. University employees have until Tuesday, May 7, to complete the training.

Information Technology Services’ Security and Compliance team is continuing the Information Security Awareness Training program. The program’s objective is to reduce risk to the University by educating the community on how to protect the University's data, network and other IT resources.

The link that directs you to a 10-minute module in SkillSoft,“Password Management.” The module does not allow users to test out of the training due to short length.

The training no longer requires confirmation of viewing the video.
