Objects Sought for Time Capsule

Items that go inside a time capsule that will be buried on the grounds of the new physician office building and SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital  are being accepted until Sunday, Aug. 25. 

The time capsule will be buried at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, to be dug up in 100 years. The new facilities will open September, 2020.

The time capsule will include artifacts and objects to let people know what medicine was like in 2019, casting a light on our practice of academic medicine, values and sense of mission. A Billiken basketball and signed copy of St. Louis Magazine’s Best Doctors issue are among the items that have been collected.
