Windows Update Coming Dec. 19

Information Technology Services (ITS) will install a critical security update to all SLU-managed Windows workstations on Thursday, Dec. 19, at 9 a.m.

The update must be applied to all SLU-managed machines and will require a reboot. 

Once the update is available to a user’s workstation the person will be given an option to reboot in 45 minutes, or the user can postpone the reboot for eight hours. At the eight-hour mark the machine will automatically reboot.
