Lenten Book Club Launching

Campus Ministry is launching a Lenten Book Group that will begin on Thursday, March 21, and conclude on Thursday, April 25. Books will be provided.

The book group’s first pick is The Cross and the Lynching Tree by Rev. Dr. James Cone. Cone is remembered as the father of black liberation theology.

Discussions will be Thursdays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Dorothy Day Room, Eckelkamp Center for Campus Ministry.

All members of the SLU, Saint Francis Xavier College Church, Aquinas Institute of Theology, Harris Stowe State University and Jesuit communities are invited to join the club.
