Graduate Student Writing Retreat Offered

The Writing Center will offer its Spring Break Graduate Student Writing Retreat 2019 as an opportunity for graduate students to write in a quiet, structured environment alongside other scholars.

This retreat will run from Wednesday, March 13 to Friday, March 15 in Room 354, Busch Student Center. The retreat’s sessions run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 15.

A limited number of one-on-one appointments will also be available to the first eight registrants on a first-come-first served basis. Space is limited to 30 students.

There will be minimal content delivery about different timed writing activities at the beginning of each day. Participants can drop in anytime and should bring laptops, papers, pens, pencils, books and articles.

Light snacks will be offered throughout the day. A break will take place at noon. Lunch is not provided.
