GSA Award Nominees Sought

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is now accepting nominations for its 2019 Recognition Awards.

The purpose of the awards is to honor students who have gone above and beyond in the fields of teaching and service, as well as a faculty member who excels in mentoring graduate students. Four awards are given.

Nominations are due Friday, March 8.

The award will be presented in May.

Awards

Graduate Teaching Award

This award is intended for a graduate student who has demonstrated excellence in teaching, either as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or as the primary instructor of a course.

Graduate Service Award

This award is intended for a graduate student who has demonstrated a high level of service to their department and/or the University community.

Graduate Leadership Award

New in 2019, this award is intended for a graduate student who has demonstrated a high level of leadership to their department and/or the University community.

Faculty Mentorship Award

This award is intended for a professor who has inspired students and enhanced students' graduate education.
