Allies for Inclusion Exhibit Open

Allies for Inclusion: The Ability Exhibit will be on display on the second floor of the Pius XII Memorial Library through Monday, Dec. 16.

The exhibition, sponsored by The Ability Institute, exhibit is designed to promote the inclusion of people with disabilities through respect for others, comfort during interactions and awareness of disability issues through a multimedia approach. The exhibit also offers suggestions for becoming disability allies and educators.

The institute’s affiliated student organization, SLU Beyond Ability (SLUBA) set up the exhibit. SLUBA is dedicated to helping students, staff and faculty members who have a disability or temporary condition.

The Ability Institute, housed in the School of Education, promotes global inclusion by providing educational opportunities to transform attitudes and develop allies for people with disabilities.

The exhibit is free and open to all
