Memorial Mass Set for School for Professional Studies Staff Member

A Memorial Mass honoring the life of Bridget Ann DeClue, a longtime staff member in the School for Professional Studies, will be held Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. in the Our Lady Chapel of St. Francis Xavier College Church. The SLU community is invited to share in the liturgy and to remember DeClue.

DeClue, known as “a genuine, giving and genial person,” died Sunday, Sept. 8. She was 46. She worked at SLU for 22 years.

Those attending the Mass are asked to bring their thoughts and fondest memories of Bridget and to complete a “memory card” during the celebration or send one via email to Beth Lawrence.

The cards will be collected and printed into a memory book to be presented to her daughter, Julia.

Ronny O’Dwyer, S.J., will preside at the service.
