SLU Staff Day of Service Is October 21

Saint Louis University's staff day of service is Monday, Oct. 21.

Staff members who wish to volunteer but have not registered can drop in to either of the on-campus sites as time permits. Both on-campus sites will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

North Campus On-Site Service Project

Create no-sew fleece blankets for the SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Foundation for patients in the Saint Louis Room of Busch Student Center.

The Foundation provides the financial support necessary for delivering exceptional health care, in state-of-the-art facilities, to all children in need of care. Through proactive communication efforts, community cultivation, philanthropic generosity and Christ-like stewardship, the Foundation’s purpose is to build strong partnerships that will result in world-class pediatric health care at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.

South Campus On-Site Service Project

Create and decorate bags for GiFT: Giving is a Family Tradition in the Doisy College of Health Sciences multipurpose room.

GiFT is dedicated to helping families with children in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and providing comprehensive support to all families with critically ill newborns. Families leaving the NICU will be sent home with goodies and supplies in the bags created by volunteers at Saint Louis University.
