Women's Commission Seeks YWCA Leaders in the Workplace Nominees

10/04/2019

The Women’s Commission is seeking nominees for this year’s YWCA Leaders in the Workplace class. Nominations of outstanding female SLU community members are due Monday, Nov. 4.

Since 1984, the YWCA has recognized the commitment and contributions of working women from the St. Louis area at an event called “Leaders in the Workplace.”

Saint Louis University recognizes its own women of achievement by participating in this event. This year’s lunch will be held Thursday, Dec. 12.

Eight women from across the University will be selected for the honor from faculty and staff nominations. The award acknowledges how these women have contributed to the growth and enrichment of both the University and the greater metropolitan community.

To Nominate a Woman Leader

Members of the SLU community who would like to nominate an employee should compose a nomination (bullet points are acceptable) and include the following information about their nominee:

The nominee should be someone who has been employed at the University at least three years.

Completed nominations should be submitted to Heather Brock, Women’s Commission co-awards chair, no later than Monday, Nov. 4.

Nominations may be submitted electronically to Heather Brock.

The SLU Leaders in the Workplace honorees will be recognized by the Women’s Commission newsletter and through other University channels.
